Services

Four ways to work with us

Plus project and volume hiring when you need a whole team, and case studies showing how searches have played out.

Permanent recruitment

Contingent search for individual roles or retained search when the role is critical, confidential, or hard to fill. Fees are a percentage of first-year base salary, agreed before we start, and every placement carries a written replacement guarantee.

  • Structured brief and agreed scorecard
  • Interviewed shortlist, typically within 10 business days
  • Reference checks, offer management, and counter-offer handling

Contract and interim

Project managers, analysts, engineers, and specialists on fixed-term contracts, from a few weeks to 18 months. Incorporated contractors or payrolled through us, with the classification, insurance, and provincial compliance handled.

  • Profiles within 48 hours for common skill sets
  • Weekly timesheets and a single invoice
  • Contract-to-permanent conversion terms agreed up front

Executive search

Retained search for director, VP, and C-level roles in supply chain, technology, and marketing. A dedicated partner, a mapped market, and a rigorous assessment process with weekly reporting.

  • Confidential approaches to passive leaders
  • Competency and culture assessment against your scorecard
  • Onboarding plan and 6-month check-in

Market intelligence and salary benchmarking

Included with every brief and available on its own. Live salary data from our placements, competitor hiring activity, and candidate sentiment for your sector and region, so your offer lands the first time.

  • Salary bands by role, region, and seniority
  • Time-to-hire and offer-acceptance benchmarks
  • Advice on job design and title before you post

Process

What happens after you submit a vacancy

  1. Same-day acknowledgement

A consultant from the relevant practice replies within one business day to book a briefing call.

  2. Briefing call

30 to 45 minutes on the role, team, systems, budget, and what a strong first year looks like. We agree terms, timeline, and how you want to be updated.

  3. Search and interview

We approach our network and passive candidates, then run structured interviews. You get weekly progress notes without having to ask.

  4. Shortlist to hire

Three to five interviewed candidates with our notes. We coordinate interviews, references, the offer, and resignation, and stay in touch through the guarantee period.

Fees and terms

Straightforward terms, agreed before any work starts

We do not publish a single rate card because roles differ, but we do promise that you will know the fee, the guarantee period, and the exclusivity terms (if any) in writing before we approach a single candidate.

Questions employers ask

Frequently asked questions

How quickly can you send a shortlist?

For a briefed permanent role, our standard is an interviewed shortlist within 10 business days. Contract roles with common skill sets are usually faster, often within 48 hours. Executive searches run to an agreed timeline, typically six to eight weeks to shortlist.

Do you work outside Ontario?

Yes. We place people across Canada and are licensed in Ontario under the Employment Standards Act recruiter regime. For provinces with their own licensing (such as British Columbia and Manitoba), we hold or arrange the required licence before recruiting there.

Can you handle a confidential replacement?

Yes. Confidential searches are common in our practices. We describe the opportunity without identifying your organization until a candidate has been screened and has agreed to proceed.

What if the hire does not work out?

Every permanent placement comes with a written replacement guarantee. If the person leaves or is let go within the guarantee period, we re-run the search at no additional fee.

Do you recruit bilingual (English/French) candidates?

Yes. A significant share of our Québec, Ottawa, and New Brunswick placements are bilingual. Tell us the level of French required for the role and we will assess it during our interviews.
