Who employs the contractor?
Either the contractor's own corporation, engaged under a services agreement, or GetJob Canada as the employer of record for payrolled contractors. We advise on which is appropriate for the role and duration so that misclassification risk stays with us, not you.
What is included in the rate?
An all-in hourly or daily rate that covers the contractor's pay, statutory costs, insurance, and our margin. There are no separate fees unless you convert the contractor to a permanent employee, in which case the pre-agreed conversion terms apply.
Can we extend or end early?
Extensions are handled with a short amendment. Early termination notice periods are set out in the agreement and are typically one to two weeks.
Do you provide equipment?
Most clients provide equipment and system access for security reasons. Where that is not practical we can arrange it and include the cost in the rate.
